Welcome to the VRone. PC development setup guide! This comprehensive guide will walk you through setting up your development environment for creating VR applications with VRone. PC headsets.

Choose Your Development Platform​

DPVR Assistant 4​

Install and Launch​

Download and install DPVR Assistant 4. Once installed, open the software.

Device Connection​

Connect your headset and controllers to your computer. Ensure they are recognized by the software.

Configure Controller Mode​

  1. Open the General Settings in DPVR Assistant 4.

  2. In the Controller Option, select your desired development controller mode:

    Auto Mode or Joystick Mode: Maps your controllers to the Oculus Touch Controller.

    Touchpad Mode: Maps your controllers to the HTC Vive Controller.

SteamVR​

Install and Launch​

Download and install SteamVR from the Steam store. Once installed, open the software.

Verify Device Connection​

Look for the highlighted icons of headset or controllers in the SteamVR panel.

Enable OpenXR (Optional)​

If you're using the OpenXR SDK, you'll need to enable it within SteamVR settings.
